They catch snakes and take them to forests, away from residential areas. But snake handler Grant Smith says there's nothing to be scared about, because snakes only strike in self-defense. Some of the snakes could be extremely dangerous, such as the puff adder. Its cyto-toxic venom is cell-destroying and can be fatal if the person bitten is not treated. On the other hand, most snakes are harmless. But our fears still remain unchanged.

  • Rise of the far-right extremism in Europe-A Simple Question-05-16-2012
For the last ten years Europe has been taking a turn towards right-wing extremism, both in terms of the growing popularity of far-right political parties and violent nationalistic and xenophobic attacks. For many Europeans the economic depression generated by the financial crisis and high levels of immigration, have led to a loss of confidence in left-leaning governments as well as claims of a loss of identity. Far-right parties across the Eurozone are fast gaining in support, establishing a stronghold in traditionally liberal Netherlands and Scandinavia. The presidential candidate of the French Front National party, Marine Le Pen, has already beaten Nikolas Sarkozy in her popularity with voters and now stands as likely winner in the 2012 elections. As economies contract and jobs dry up, many-right wing parties are pointing the finger at Islam and immigration. The European Council on Foreign Relations has likened the Islamaphobic rhetoric of the right-wing political parties to the anti-Semitism of the 1920s and 30s. We are already witnessing an increase in violent ultra-right wing attacks, such as those committed in Norway last year when Anders Behring Breivik killed 77 people in attacks he claims were necessary for a 'civil war against Islam in Europe', and news reports from Germany of neo-Nazi killings of eight Turkish Immigrants. With the far-right politics so strongly focused on anti-Islamic sentiment, what is the future for Muslim communities in Europe if far-right ...

If the driver leans forward, the Uni-Cub moves straight ahead lean to the left to go left - it's as simple as that. If it all gets too much, the driver can simply put its foot down and it'll stop. Its riders say scooting about on it is easy.
